The GRAMMAR

The GRAMMAR is a three-color silkscreen print on paper, with a full-black coverage acrylic-painted background. This piece serves as an index for the project From the Top of the Mountains We Can See Invisible Monuments, guiding different programs identified by its icons and making visible complex narratives and processes that are difficult to perceive linearly.

It employs a visual strategy that draws from archaeological artifacts such as the Palermo Stone (likely from Egypt’s Fifth Dynasty, c. 2392–2283 BC) and South American Amerindian thought, including Sumak Kawsay and Teko Porã, which reflect on nature and the world we inhabit as a cosmological unity.
